Former Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont and four former ministers have been freed with conditions by an investigating judge in Belgium. The judge said they could not leave the country without permission and had to give details of their accommodation. Bojdjemmon and ministers voluntarily surrendered to the Belgian police when Madrid disbanded the Catalonian government, putting direct government in the  autonomous region, and made a decision to arrest them, which was mandatory in all European Union member states. Eight other officials of the Catalonian government have been detained and interrogated; one of them was released on bail. Within 60 days Belgium will decide whether it will extradite Carles Puigdemont and his four partners to Spain. To remind, On October 27, the Catalonian parliament adopted a Declaration of Independence based on the results of the October 1 Referendum according to which about 90 percent of the votes cast for Catalonia's independence.
