Historic Armenian houses in Turkey turn into hotels
Historic Armenian houses of Gaziantep (Ayntap) turned into hotels. The Turkish news website Haber writes that Armenian houses with old history, which have storms that are warm in the winter and cold in summer, are of great interest to tourists visiting the city today. According to the source, these houses are 200-300 years old. Director of one of the guest houses Zeynel Özkarman said that these houses, which have historical monuments, are left from the Armenians. There is even an Armenian inscription on one of the houses. Özkarman noted that there is a great demand for the guesthouse and there is always no free room at the end of the week. Guests, who have a double room overnight, including a lunch, pay 150-200 lira (about 20000 AMD).
