Andranik karapetyan wins the second gold medal at the European Weightlifting Championships
Andranik Karapetyan won the second gold medal at the European Weightlifting Championships in Durres. In the weight class up to 23 years, our 85 kg weightlifter won the first place with 360 kg biathlon and became the European champion in that age group. In the snatch, he won a small gold medal with a result of 170 kg, but lost to Italian Antonio Pietolato and won a small silver medal. To remind, Sona Poghosyan won the title of champion in the U-20 Women’s Championships in the European Weightlifting Championships.
