Today, at a press conference, Boris Navasardyan, the president of the Yerevan Press Club, agrees with the analysts who believe that the purpose of this meeting was to decrease the general tension, not the acquisition of concrete consensus. According to ethnographer Hranush Kharatyan, Armenia has shown it is reconciled with the idea that the Vienna agreement could not be implemented. "Serzh Sargsyan had said he would not continue the negotiations until the Vienna agreement was not implemented. But the fact is that he actually went to negotiations."
