A foreign citizen, accused for terrorism, was arrested on the Georgian-Russian border. This was reported by the Russian media. According to the information, the suspect was arrested at the Upper Lars checkpoint. Special services of Russia do not reveal his identity. According to the Russian security service, the husband of the suspect was a follower of extremist Islam who died during the Middle East war, after which he became a follower of jihad.
