Catholicos visits Berlin
On October 17,the Catholicos Karekin II, the supreme head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, will attend the official events within the framework of the 500th anniversary of The Reformation in Europe. Within the framework of the visit, Karekin II will meet with the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, as well as with the Armenian community of Berlin. Karekin II will also address the opening of the international conference "Middle Eastern Christians". On October 21, under the presidency of the Eastern Orthodox Churches, the Interfaith Prayer will be held in the Cathedral of Berlin for the establishment and maintenance of peace in the Middle East.
