Electric car importers to be free from taxes (video)
Today, before heading to the government session agenda, Karen Karapetyan gave a new assignment, according to which companies importing electric motor vehicles will be free from taxes, duties and property tax. The head of the government noted that according to the existing regulations, there are some types of taxes and fees used for the import and exploitation of cars with electric motors. "Taking into consideration the environmental cleanliness and the need to promote the import of these machines, I assign Deputy Prime Minister Vache Gabrielyan, Minister of Economic Development and Investments, Finance and Nature Protection, and the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee to examine the duties and taxes levied on import of electric cars, taking into account the EEC regulations and the Government staff present suggestions within a month."
