Kirill Shevchenko as the leader of the chess European Grand Prix in Jermuk

After the one-day rest, the chess European Grand Prix in Jermuk continues.

In the seventh round of the tournament, the only leader of the tournament Kirill Shevchenko defeated Arsen Nesterov and celebrated his 6th victory. The 15-year-old Ukrainian chess player scored 6.5 points and continues to lead the tournament.

One of our two chess players, Aram Hakobyan, managed to win and maintain the difference of half a point from a leader. And Shant Sargsyan, another Armenian player, played in a draw with Viacheslav Zarubitsky and fell from the first place.

The 8th round will take place today. Aram Hakobyan will compete with Viacheslav Zarubitsky, and Shant Sargsyan will compete with Kirill Shubin. Kirill Shevchenko will try to beat Sergey Lobanov, who is in the 9th place.
