Enhanced inspection visits to Dilijan

Enhanced inspection visits are continuing in the Dilijan National Park of the Ministry of Nature Protection to prevent and detect cases of illegal logging and poaching. 3 violations of forest fauna and 6 illegal loggings were identified during these visits. The national park sold 93.0 cubic meters of timber, on average 3,000 drams for per 1 m³ of tail (overall 877, 6 thousand drams). Relevant specialists of the Dilijan National Park met with the representatives of the ADEA Foundation and the Trans-Caucasian Trail NGO to discuss eco-routes and future plans. During the week, one illegal fishing case was revealed by the SNCO Protection Department staff.
