A major scandal has been recorded in the history of the World Cup. In the last round of the North and Central American section of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, Panama won the Costa Rican team (2: 1) and won the right to participate in the final tournament for the first time. Actually, the Panamanians scored only one goal during the game because although the ball did not cross the gate, the Honduras chief referee counted it as the second goal.
