Artur Petrosyan blames the players for defeat (video)
Arthur Petrosyan, Head coach of the Armenian national team, explained the defeat of the Polish team only by the mistakes made by the players. "I did not make a mistake in choosing of the squad, I had chosen the strongest players at the moment. But if you analyze the game, you will see that we lost not because of the tactics I had chose, but because of the simple mistakes made by our players. The football players should also be responsible; they should work hard and improve themselves," Arthur Petrosyan said at the press conference organized after the game. To the question whether it was possible to solve serious problems with the same squad during the next game cycle, Artur Petrosyan unequivocally said that it was impossible. "Without updating and strengthening the team it is impossible. In the youth team of Armenia there are players of the 1st group of our championship. The only way out is to invite new players from outside. With this squad it will be difficult to compete in the Europe League," concluded Arthur Petrosyan.
