Armenian weightlifters to participate in European Championship
Armenia's 20 and 23-years-old weightlifters will participate in the European Championship which will be held in Albania on October 15-21. As the press service of the Armenian National Olympic Committee informs, the following athletes will compete in the tournament. Girls, 20 years old - Sona Poghosyan (75kg) , Arpine Dalalyan (+90kg). Girls, 23 years old - Isabella Yaylyan (58 kg), Tatevik Hakobyan (90 kg). Boys, 20 years old- Hrayr Hovhannisyan (69kg), David Hovhannisyan and Karen Avagyan (85kg), Samvel Gasparyan(105kg), Simon Martirosyan(+105kg). Boys, 23 years old - Georges Yeghikyan (77 kg), Andranik Karapetyan (85kg), Karush Ghukasyan (94 kg), Mkrtich Mkrtchyan (105 kg), Gor Minasyan (+ 105 kg). It should be reminded that Simon Martirosyan and Gor Minasyan are the vice-champions of the 2016 Olympics.
