The Executive Board of the IWF made this decision on the basis of the positive result of doping tests revision of the Armenian weightlifters Hripsime Khurshudyan, Tigran Martirosyan and Norayr Vardanyan during the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games. It is noteworthy that no positive results have been observed in the doping inspections of the Armenian weightlifting team after the initiative of the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, the National Olympic Committee of Armenia and the Armenian Weightlifting Federation joint staff and program changes since 2013, the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affair reports.
