New Armenian-Iranian joint film

On September 23, a new Armenian-Iranian joint film "Eva" (working title is "Qarvachar") , directed by Iranian-Armenian Anahit Abadi, was shown in the Moscow cinema. The Iranian-Armenian director shot many films in Armenia, but this was the first full-length film. The film "Eva," shot with the financial support of the National Cinema Center of Armenia and "Farabi Film Production Center" Foundation(national fund), is a drama. It is about a woman who wants to forget her dark and hard past. She moves from yerevan to Artsakh with her daughter. But her past does not stop following her... The director says that in May, 2017, a closed screening of the film was organized in Cannes, and has received apositive feedback from the international film critics. There was a proposal to organize the first screening of the film abroad... However, it was Anahit Abad's wish, it will first be presented to Armenian and Iranian audiences, after which it will be launched abroad. And producers along with the screening process will work together to screen it at famous international festivals. The film was produced with considerable financial input from the Iranian side and with the support of the Armenian government. The film is shot in Artsakh. The actors are Narine Grigoryan, Shant Hovhannisyan, Marjan Avetisyan, Rozi Avetisova, Sergey Tovmasyan, Vrezh Qasuni, Tigran Davtyan, Nanor Petrosyan, Evelina Adamyan, Marat Davtyan and others. The film director and scriptwriter is Anahit Abad, the operator is Hasan Karim, the composer is Vahan Artsruni, and the producer Taghi Ali Ghoziladeh. Let's also mention that the film's  Artsakh and Iranian premiere will take place in October. The National Cinema Center of Armenia reports.
