Serzh Sargsyan also awarded Hovhannes Chekijyan, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian State Academic Choir, and duduk player Jivan Gasparyan with 1 st degree medal. Mher Armenia, Arame and Sirusho are Honorable Artists; Arto Tunjboyajyan received the title of Distinguished Artist of the Republic of Armenia.
