Untitled-6

The museum dedicated to Anastas and Artyom Mikoyan, which has been operating for 35 years, has got a second wind. The museum located in the village of Sanahin in the northern region of Lori, was closed for renovation and has re-opened with a new ‘breath,’ pleasantly surprising not only its visitors but also the members of the Mikoyan family. The museum, best known as  Mikoyan Brothers Museum, has been enriched with new samples and exhibits donated by the relatives of the well-known brothers. Anastas Moyan was an influential Soviet statesman with a good eye for economics. His brother Artyom was the designer of the USSR’s first jet fighter in WWII, the MiG. There’s an early MiG jet outside the museum. More details can be found in the video of Alaverdi’s Ankyun +3 TV
