Tie-break game between Levon Aronian and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave to decide next finalist

Armenia’s Levon Aronian has tied his second game with Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France) in the FIDE World Cup semi-final. Playing with black pieces, Aronian started the game very confidently and showed from the very beginning that he was ready for any development. Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, in turn, did not take a risk, and the two players agreed on draw on the 19th move. The winner of the pair will become known tomorrow, when the players compete in the tie-break. The chess players will first compete in a rapid game. If the game ends in a draw, they will play blitz.
