Garo Yeghnukian's wife and daughters detained (video)
Six citizens were taken to a police station from Yerevan’s Liberty Square in the morning. The wife and daughters of Garo Yeghnukian, who is in prison for assisting members of the Sasna Tsrer (Daredevils of Sassoun) group, were among the detainees. The six were reportedly distributing flyers when they were detained. Garo Yeghnukian, a member of the Pre-Parliament organization was arrested last year for his ‘support’ to the Sasna Tsrer group that seized a building in Yerevan in July 2016, taking hostages. The group demanded resignation of Serzh Sargsyan and release of opposition leader Zhirar Sefilian.
