Nikol Pashinyan: The event is aimed at becoming Serzh Sargsyan's PR campaign
The YELK (Way Out) Alliance does not participate in the sixth Armenia-Diaspora Forum because, 1. Alliance parties, as well as members of the National Assembly or the Council of Elders of Yerevan, have not received invitations to participate in the conference, moreover, they have not been invited to comment on the Alliance's approaches to Armenia-Diaspora relations. 2. These and some other facts come to prove that the event is aimed at becoming Serzh Sargsyan's PR campaign.
3. To remind, one of the most important points of the pre-electoral program of the YELK Alliance has been the creation of the second chamber of the Armenian Parliament composed of representatives of Diaspora communities. We are ready to discuss this project with all the Diaspora organizations and take up the preparation of the relevant constitutional amendments package.
