Armenia hosts world famous Armenians
In 2017, the tenth anniversary of the program "Armenians of Origin" will be celebrated. On this occasion, on the invitation of Marianna Hakobyan, the auther of the program, more than 110 heroesas, well as famous friends of the program arrived in homeland from all over the world: Ornella Muti from Italy, world-famous chef Gerard Geraro from the USA, Christian Aghdan, French film producer and others. Legendary Michel Legrand and Garo Palyan are among the honorable guests. On September 18, press-conference is given by Manana Hakobyan, author and host of "Armenians of Origin," the program heroes: Hollywood actor Marco Khan, the physician Reprogensologist Vigen Sephilian, the Lebanese Armenian General Panos Manjyan, singer Rosy Armen, Raffi Megerian, owner of "Megerian Carpet" company honorable guest Garo Palyan, representative of the RA Ministry of Diaspora. The speakers will present the details of the jubilee events and will speak about other programs within the framework of the visit to the homeland. On September 18, at 8 pm, "Megerian Carpet" company hosts a solemn event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the "Megerian Carpet" company and the 10th anniversary of "Armenians of Origin" TV show. On September 19. at 10 am, businessman Artur Asatryan, Garo Peilan MP of Turkey, and Manana Hakobyan, the host of the program, visit the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, in the frames of the 10th anniversary of "Armenians of Origin" program. Artur Asatryan will donate rare documents from the Vatican Secret Archives to the Museum of the Armenian Genocide, which he has received with the support of Mikael Minasyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Holy See and Valentina Karakhanyan, Vatican Secret Archives collaborator. On September 19, at 6:30 pm, the festive Concert takes place at the Concert Hall of Demirchyan Sport and Concert Complex.
