Another Decision of the European Court Against the Republic of Armenia:
The European Court has made regular decision on Matevosyan v. Armenia case. The applicant is Alik Matevosyan. The court made a decision that the State failed to conduct an effective investigation into the issue raised by the applicant on ill-treatment, which led to violation of Article 3 of the Convention in a procedural aspect.
The Republic of Armenia must pay 6000€ to the applicant. The suit was presented in September, 2009.
Alik Matevosyan served at a military unit as a senior operator and in 2008 was accused on murder of a serviceman.Details of the case here
