17 million 310 thousand drams for hunting permission
On August 26 the Minister of Nature Protection permitted amateur hunting of certain animals. Taking into account the consequences of the fire that took place in Khosrov Forest State Reserve, the Ministry made a change in the order and forbade the hunting the wild animals that were forced out of the reserve. In 2017, the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia sold 2164 amateur hunting licenses through seven hunting associations, with 17 million 310 thousand drams paid to the Ministry's target fund. In 2016, 1065 permits were granted for amateur hunting, 8 million 520 thousand drams were paid to the Ministry's target fund, the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armeni reports.
