Household waste to be sorted in Shirak region
Today during the regular government session the executive approved the concept of solid household waste management in Shirak region. According to that it is proposed to introduce a saving, environmentally friendly and sanitary-hygienically relevant sub-system that will meet the European standards, with the entire population involved in the services. As a result of the sub-system development the negative effect of solid household waste on human health and the surrounding environment will be decreased and neutralized, a comfortable and ecologically save conditions will be provided, waste management and sanitation services will be mandatory and periodic, the sorting of waste subject to disposal will be carried out in case of corresponding demand, and so on.
