Deputy Defense Minister on declining military exercises: “There is nothing extraordinary” (video)
“Our participation in the military exercises is not situational, but taking into account deep assessments,” said the RA Deputy Defense Minister Artak Zakaryan. To remind, on the last minute Armenia declined its participation in NATO military exercises underway in Georgia. The Deputy Defense Minister is sure that the media outlets give artificial significance to Armenia’s refusal. “There is nothing extraordinary. It doesn’t mean that our cooperation decreases or increases at the expense of other link,” he says. He adds that in different projects we cooperate with the NATO member states. “You shouldn’t consider participating or not participating in one event as something extraordinary,” says Deputy Defense Minister.
