Second fire breaks out on Mount Mtatsminda
Smoke is again seen on Tbilisi’s Mount Mtatsminda, which overlooks the Georgian capital, a Facebook user wrote on his Facebook posting photos.
This is the second fire in one month. A massive fire broke out near the territory of the Bombora Mtatsminda theme park in Tbilisi on August 9 and spread down towards the upper Vera cemetery, damaging an area of approximately 2 hectares. The nearby residential area was evacuated while 70 firefighters fought to control the blaze. No casualties were reported.
