The low level of collection volumes in personal incomes and in the field of garbage removal became a reason for reprimand by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan. “The tariffs you are talking about aren’t additional or insurmountable burden for our citizens. Consequently it is an unregulated field. You neither carry burden, nor set tariffs or regulate, but are constantly demanding money from the republican budget. And we have clearly formulated that subsidies to each community will be allocated by the following principle; the most not to the poorest, but the one, who works the most and carries burden,” said Premier during the consultation held in the city of Dilijan of the RA Tavush marz. The personal incomes of the communities of Tavush marz make up about AMD 921.3 million. Until the end of the year increase in personal incomes is expected at the expense of signing of new contracts and construction of the community market in the city of Noyemberyan. According to the Government press release, the Premier instructed the governor to work with the interested ministries and in a short period present an analysis on personal incomes of each community and volumes expected from garbage removal sums. To remind, formerly the RA second President Robert Kocharyan gave a similar remark to Yerevan Mayor Albert Bazeyan saying ‘sitting on the money, you demand money’. Tavushi_marz3
