Group of young people presented the history of Artsakh

July 20, vice-president of the parliament Vahram Balayan received members of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Association and the Junior Union of New Julfa in the Big Hall of the National Assembly. Welcoming young people, Vahram Balayan presented the history of Artsakh, touched upon the NA activity and structure, current state of economy, army building and culture. Touching upon the role of youth in the development of the country, the vice-president of the parliament noted the importance of their potential and urged them not to remain indifferent in the processes taking place in their homeland. "I think there is a need for joint solution of the issues, in which case everything that we have today will double and triple, and thus we will be able to create the unified Armenia of our dreams," said Vahram Balayan. During the meeting, representatives of the Diaspora asked the NA Vice-President about the airport of Stepanakert, February constitutional reforms in the republic, army construction, the prospects of the educational system of Artsakh and the negotiation process. Summing up the results of the meeting, Vahram Balayan suggested that young people visit Artsakh more often, invite guests here, thus facilitating closer familiarity with the motherland and repatriation.
