Flow of citizens to police regiment continues: live (video)
Today starting from early in the morning, the flow of citizens and policemen to Erebuni police regiment continues. To remind, on July 17, members of the group calling itself Sasna Dzrer (Daredevils of Sasun) stormed a police building in Yerevan’s Erebuni district, killing policeman Arthur Vanoyan and taking several others hostage. The group was demanding resignation of Serzh Sargsyan and release of political prisoners. In the following two weeks, actions were held in Khorenatsi street, near the territory of the police regiment, other people were killed and injured, including among Sasna Dzrer, there were arrests. In two weeks the armed group laid down the arms. The trial of “Sasna Dzrer” is underway.
