Karen Poladyan: Everyone who enters court will be examined
Head of Armenia's Judicial Department Karen Poladyan today said that everyone who enters a court, including prosecutors, lawyers and other individuals, will be subject to examination for security reasons. “This will be done to ensure security and public order in courts. The examination is not motivated by implicit reasons,” he said. Mr. Poladyan says judicial bailiffs are not interested in the contents of bags carried by lawyers. They simply advise lawyers not to carry with them suspicious items which are found through signal detection.
