Jirayr Sefilyan and Nerses Poghosyan removed from courtroom (video)
Jirayr Sefilyan and Nerses Poghosyan have been removed forcibly from the courtroom by the police. Judge Tatevik Grigoryan had them removed after the two did not stand up when she entered the courtroom. The judge considered their behaviour as contempt of court. Sefilyan and Poghosyan said something before leaving but their voice was not heard in the hall. Arsen Mkrtchyan, one of the lawyers in the case, said they had nothing against the court, but the case was fabricated and Sefilyan and Poghosyan had nothing to do with the accusations. The lawyers of the two defendants did not participate in the hearing. They were waiting in the yard. We remind that during the previous sitting the judge ordered to remove Gevorg Safaryan from the courtroom for the same reason - disrespectful attitude towards court.
