Negotiations over the Karabakh conflict cannot be continued in a tense situation, says Hovhannes Igityan, a member of the Pan-Armenian National Movement (HHSh). He says it is impossible to sit around a negotiating table when children are killed, blood is shed, people are afraid to go out to the fields, when there are causalities among civilian population. Mr Igityan advises everyone to use the word “war” very rarely. “War means clashes between military units of the two countries. Azerbaijan's behavior is typical of an aggressor and a terrorist. I do not see clashes between military units of 2 or 3 sides here,” he stressed. He says Azerbaijan is not acting alone and is openly cooperating with Turkey. Speaking about the joint military exercises by Azerbaijan and Turkey, Mr Igityan said that they are preparing for war.
