New head of FC Pyunik appoints club’s executive director (video)
Today Armenian businessman living in Russia, our compatriot Arthur Soghomonyan has become owner of Yerevan FC Pyunik. “It is a deal without any compensation. The club has been given to me for free. Unfortunately, today Armenian clubs are in the situation that they spend more than earn. But I hope that in the upcoming years the situation will get better, more people will do investments in the football, the number of the clubs will increase and Armenian championship will get more interesting,” he said during today’s press conference. New Head of FC Pyunik noted that he is not going to carry out radical changes in the club. “As of now we have carried out one change in the personnel. Armen Gyulbudaghyants has been appointed Executive Director of the club,” Arthur Soghomonyan told the journalists.
