“Karine” operetta in French (video)
Tigran Chukhajyan’s “Karine” operetta will sound in French. National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet after A. Spendiarian is also getting ready for Francophonie summit due next year in Armenia. Michel Legrand’s The Umbrellas of Cherbourg will follow “La Boheme” ballet and we will be proud of musical presence of two great French-Armenians on our national stage. According to the words of Lusine Karamyan, Head of International Relations Department of the Ministry of Culture, every year in March-April different events are held within the frames of Francophonie. Next year’s cultural programs will be more diverse and extended, as such an event is planned and delegations from 40 countries are expected.
