ECHR to consider suit into the case of Ararat Khandoyan
The European Court of Human Rights will consider the suit filed by Ara Gharagyozyan, advocate of “Against the Legal Arbitrariness” NGO, in connection with the illegal detention of Ararat Khandoyan, who is charged with participation in mass disorders. The suit relates to the first decision on Ararat Khandoyan’s detention. The ECHR informed the advocate that the Court will consider the case at the earliest opportunity. To remind, the case is under investigation and the Prosecutor has already made a speech, mediating to sentence Ararat Khandoyan to 4 years’ imprisonment.
