Artsakh military took retaliatory actions to suppress Azerbaijan's firing
No drastic changes were reported in the situation along the Line of Contact between Azerbaijani and Artsakh opposition forces from 21 to 27 May. Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire over 550 times during the week, firing 60mm and 82mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and anti-tank grenade launchers along different sections of the frontline. As result of the Azerbaijani ceasefire violations, Armen Harutyunyan, a 21-year-old serviceman of the Artsakh army, was killed on May 26 in a military unit stationed in the northern direction. The Artsakh military took retaliatory actions to suppress the firing.
