BarCamp 2017 Launches in Yerevan

Armenia’s largest tech unconference will take place in Yerevan on May 27-28th. BarCamp Yerevan will bring together thousands of IT professionals for the 9th consecutive year. The goal of the unconference is to share knowledge, skills and experience, as well as forge new professional ties. BarCamp Yerevan will feature 6 international guest-speakers -- developers Jan Wildeboer (Germany), Eduard Ulrich (Czhech Republic), Illya Klimov (Ukraine), photographer Andrew Rowat (Canada), Social Media Marketing specialists Ekaterina Eroshenko and Ekaterina Tkacheva (Russia). BarCamp Yerevan 2017 will also feature workshops by some of the top IT specialists, as well as a job fair, in which dozens of IT companies will be represented. The event’s timetable and guest list will be published on our official website (www.barcamp.am) and the Facebook page. Ucom is the general sponsor of BarCamp Yerevan for the 4th consecutive year. BarCamp Yerevan is organized by a team of volunteers, who are representatives of Armenian IT and Media industries. The first BarCamp was held in Yerevan in 2009. Held annually ever since, the number of participants of the event has grown from 300 to 3,000 estimated for this year.
