“We cannot ensure quality for those 7 pupils” (video)
Levon Mkrtchyan, acting Minister of Education and Science, today once again reminded that the optimization program relates to the city schools, and village schools won’t be closed down as a result of that. “It doesn’t relate to village schools. First, everything must be qualitative. See, if the school has 7 pupils and there is another school 1 km or 2 km far, which has 60 pupils, as a result that school with 7 pupils is really hard to keep, as we cannot ensure quality for those 7 pupils,” noted Levon Mkrtchyan.
