Addressing the 17th sitting of the Armenia-EU Cooperation Council in Brussels, Armenia’s acting Foreign Minister Edwrad Nalbandian offered condolences over the explosion in Manchester, which claimed the lives of more than two dozen innocent people. Tigran Balayan, Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, said on his Facebook page that the Armenian Embassy in the UK is trying to find out whether there are Armenians among victims of the blast in Manchester. Twenty-two people, including children, have been killed and 59 injured in a suspected terror attack on the Manchester Arena. The explosion happened just after the end of a pop concert by the US singer Ariana Grande, who is popular among children and teenagers.
