Arthur Aleksanyan isn’t in lineup
European Wrestling Federation has published the names of all the wrestlers, who will participate in the European Championship due in Serbian Novi Sad city on May 2. Armenia’s Greco-Roman and free style wrestling teams will represent 8 athletes each at that championship. Here is the lineup of our teams: Greco-Roman style team: Gevorg Gharibyan, Karen Aslanyan, Rafayel Aleksanyan, Karapet Chalyan, Sargis Kocharyan, Maksim Manukyan, Arthur Shahinyan, Vachik Yeghiazaryan. Free style wrestling team: Garik Barseghyan, Volodya Frangulyan, Narek Sirunyan, Valter Margaryan, Grigor Grigoryan, Vahe Tamrazyan, Georgi Ketoev, Levan Berianidze. By the way, our Olympic champion Arthur Aleksanyan isn’t in the lineup, but according to Levon Julfalakyan, Head Coach of Greco-Roman style wrestling team, he will participate in the championship in 98 kg weight category. The championship will kick off on May 2.
