Armenia gains victory over Israeli team

Armenian senior chess players’ team continues struggle for the title of the world champion. In the 5^th round of World Senior Team Championship underway in Greece, our chess players beat the Israeli first team with 3:1 score. Rafayel Vahanyan and Karen Movsisyan ended in a draw, and Artashes Minasyan and Sergey Galdunts gained victories. Armenian team gained 8 points and together with England’s first team now they are sharing the 2^nd-3^rd places. Russian team heads the standings, which has 10 points after 5 rounds. Today in the 6^th round our team will face Israeli 2^nd team.
