Four injured in Yerevan where Taron Margaryan was to hold campaign rally (video)
19.00 Police officers at the scene of the accident refused to give any information about the occurrence.
Our cameraman fixed the vehicle which hit the four young people. The driver fled the scene, leaving the car in the yard of nearby buildings. The car stands there with a shattered windshield. It does not have a front license plate.
18.18 A fatal accident occurred today in one of Yerevan’s districts where incumbent Mayor Taron Margaryan was scheduled to hold a campaign rally before the May 14 municipal elections. According to the latest reports received from the accident scene, the meeting has been postponed.
Eye-witnesses say one young man was killed and three other were injured in a crash that occurred in the vicinity of the school named after Nar Dos. The injured were taken to hospital.
There are traces of blood at the scene which is cordoned off by the police.
