'The Promise' screened in Ukraine
The Promise – a new film about the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire directed by Terry George – was shown in Ukraine on April 27, AnalitikaUA.net reports. Representatives of the Armenian community, high-ranking clergymen, political and social organizations and MPs participated in the premiere of the film in Kiev’s Cinema city Before the screening, the audience heard the works of duduk player Armen Kostandyan and a PSA about the 102nd anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
