OSCE conducts monitoring in Armenia’s Tavush province

The Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on April 27 conducted a monitoring of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, near Kayan village of Armenia’s Tavish province. From the Armenian side, the monitoring was carried out by field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Gennady Petrica and Martin Schuster. During the monitoring, no ceasefire violations were registered. Before the monitoring, the OSCE representatives in the Tavush Governorate were briefed on the current situation in the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, the statistics on Azerbaijani ceasefire violations, by drawing their attention on the fact that the Azerbaijani forces regularly fire shots towards the bordering villages and roads. The OSCE officials thanked the Armenian side for the presented data, stating that these will be included in their reports.
