The discussion of application of Armenian National Congress-People’s Party of Armenia (Congress-HZhK) on recognizing the results of the NA elections invalid today continued at the Constitutional Court. The respondent side today has been answering the questions of the plaintiff. Tigran Mukuchyan, Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has been answering the questions of Levon Zurabyan, Vice President of the Armenian National Congress (HAK). They were periodically arguing. In reply to the question of Levon Zurabyan how many school and kindergarten headmasters have been interrogated, Tigran Mukuchyan gave short and unclear answers. The Constitutional Court Chairman Gagik Harutyunyan intervened, demanding that question-and-answer session proceed within the frames of application. Tigran Mukuchyan refused to answer several questions, saying, “I consider it to be waste of time.” “I am very pleased with you answers,” replied Levon Zurabyan. Mr Zurabyan inquired how Tigran Mukuchyan can explain the unusual activeness of voters early in the morning. “The voter lists were published, you can meet them one by one and ask them why they were so active,” answered Tigran Mukuchyan ironically. Levon Zurabyan also touched upon the high profile recording of the headquarters of Artak Sargsyan, who was elected a lawmaker with the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) precinct list, and spoke of hundreds of people gathered there. “Does the recording show how many people there were? So were there 200 or 400 people?” continued the CEC President in the same style.
