Khachkar commemorating the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide installed in Miralfiore park in Pesaro
At the initiative of Yerevan Municipality in cooperation with “Renko” company a Khachkar commemorating the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide was installed in Miralfiore park in Pesaro, Italy. The Mayor of Pesaro Matteo Ricci, the president of “Renko” Giovanni Gaspari, the head of Foreign Relations Department of Yerevan Municipality David Gevorgyan, the representatives of Italy Embassy in Armenia and representatives of the local Armenian community were present at the ceremony of opening. Expressing gratitude on Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan's behalf for implementation of the initiative David Gevorgyan expressed confidence that installation of the Khachkar will contribute to strengthening and development of the friendly ties between the two cities.
