Statement condemning Armenian Genocide in Turkey: ermenihaber
Democratic Society Congress (DTK) established in Diyarbakir has made a written statement in connection with 102nd anniversary of Armenian Genocide. According to Turkish evrensel.net website, the statement reads that during the history as a result of “one state, one nation, one language” policy led by Turkey, the people of Anatolia and Mesopotamia were subjected to genocide and assimilation. This process, alas, continues even now. 1.5 million Armenian victims are mentioned in the statement as well as Turkey’s escaping policy to face the issue. More here
