Ararat Khandoyan had eye surgery
Ararat Khandoyan, the brother of Arayik Khandoyan (nicknamed Lone Wolf), was taken to the Nubarashen prison immediately after having eye surgery at the Ophthalmologic Center after S. V. Malayan , his lawyer Ara Gharagyozyan informed A1+. The lawyer says no problems arose after the operation. Ararat Khandoyan received an eye injury on July 20 during the clashes between demonstrators and riot police on Khorenasti street after the police applied special means to disperse the protesters backing the armed members of the Sasna Dzrer group remained barricaded in a police station in Erebuni district which they seized on July 17. Ararat Khandoyan, who is charged with organizing mass disturbances, has been in custody for eight months. The next court hearing in the case is slated for April 27.
