Turkologist: We will have two authoritarian neighbors (video)
Armenian-Turkish relations were comparatively good, when there was influence on Turkey from Europe. After implementation of new Constitution, Turkey will no longer obey anyone and the relations with our neighboring country will worsen. Turkologist Anush Hovhannisyan notes, “Now we will have two regimes having hostile attitude towards Armenians. Formerly when Turkey was considered to be democratic, now it will vanish and we will have two authoritarian states, which obviously lead anti-Armenian policy.” According to the Turkologist, for Armenia the fact that Erdogan was able to ensure majority allying with Nationalist Movement Party is also concerning.
