13 out 320 reports considered vote rigging by Prosecutor’s Office

As of 02.04.2017, 10:00 the working group of the RA Prosecutor General’s Office has examined 320 reports on vote rigging, from which 13 reports involve obvious electoral crime. In order to find out the circumstances mentioned in those 13 reports, they have been sent to the RA police and the RA Investigation Committee local departments for preparing materials or carrying out examination activities according to the RA Criminal Procedure Code Article 180-181. To note, 6 out of 13 reports relate to voting instead of other person or double voting, 3- violation of confidentiality of voting, and 3- hindering free implementation of a citizen’s electoral right.
