OSCE observers went to track reports about ORO supporters stranded en route to Yerevan

The ORO alliance says it continues to receive reports from its regional supporters who are banned to enter Yerevan to participate in the bloc’s rally to be held at Liberty Square at 6p.m. Garnik Sahakyan, the bloc’s representative in Lori marz, said their drivers who were transporting passengers to Yerevan, received a threatening telephone call on the way by the the Lori Marz (Region) Police Department. They were ordered to return to their homes. The vehicles are now standing near Spitak town waiting for further instructions. The bloc’s headquarters has informed the OSCE observers about the incident. At present, they are on their way to meet the stranded passengers. The ORO alliance also reports that the police in Gyumri have taken the phone numbers and recorded the license plates of drivers transporting people to Yerevan.
